Introduction

I am excited to begin my journey studying “A Textiles Vocabulary”.  I have read through the course material and think the work I will be required to undertake will be innovative and challenging.  The course will expand my textile horizon and expose me to a much wider number of approaches.

By way of background I have completed City and Guilds studies in Patchwork and Creative Sketchbooks by distance and now feel the need to be stretched in the broader field of textiles.  I live in Brisbane Australia and spend some time in Jakarta Indonesia.
